Karamabad Reservoir Dam and related land-based storage facility for storing the remaining excess water of the rightful Iran of 3.4 m3 / s on the southern side of the reservoir of the Aras Dam and in the vicinity of the village of Karamabad in West Azarbaijan province will be constructed. The dam is of earthy type with a clay core of 53 meters from the river bed and the length of the crater of 1991, with a total body volume of 2.4 million cubic meters and a reservoir volume of 53.5 million cubic meters. The project is about 28,000 cubic meters of concrete, 2.4 million cubic meters of embankment, 18,000 meters long drilling and injection of 21,500 cubic meters of plastic concrete, along with the preparation, transportation and installation of hydromechanical equipment and instrumentation, and the provision and construction of the employer’s workshops and access roads.
